West Wildwood - It takes a lot of guts for any county, state, or municipal employee to ask for lifetime benefits for himself and his spouse for only working 13 years of service, especially for a county prosecutor to sue because he didn't get his wish. Thirteen years is a pittance when it takes at least 25 years for most civil service workers. The county prosecutor's salary is the highest of most employees. With his salary from his previous employment, he should be able to pay for his own health plans. If every worker was granted lifetime benefits with just over 10 years, it would bankrupt the county.
