Court House - I am not a fireman, but I see daily their sacrifices. Wear a pager and respond daily to calls, half of which are in the middle of the night. Cut bloodied and broken victims from cars or stand in a burning inferno looking for victims when 15 minutes earlier they were asleep with their spouse. While we are warm and secure at home during storms, they are in freezing wind, snow and rain. While we may never carry the memories of traumatic events, they will forever carry the faces of people who have been maimed, broken or killed. Our community is blessed to have such brave and noble people.
