We are born, then proceed into life attending academia til we are in our late teens or mid-20's. We know nothing about real life. We then marry, raise a family, and realize that we are in our late 50's. The next phase is the time to turn out the lights. We matter not and the cycle begins over again. No wonder the advertisers, companies, and the political system always win, because before you figure life out it is onto the hear after and beyond.
