Promoted under the guise of "safety" this project is nothing more than a first step in the commercialization of bayfront property. Traffic reports show no fatalities and few injuries. The congestion is seasonal. Manager Jim Ridgeway has failed to provide evidence that alternative programs are not feasible. Hold the mayor, council, and manager accountable. Residents need to voice their protest. Their silence will not protect them!
