West Wildwood - Those that complain about consolidating with North Wildwood or Wildwood don't understand the service they get. If they were to consolidate with Wildwood, you would never see police on the island unless called. As far as the spouter that complained about nine officers for 1 square mile, they don't all work at once. You have two working days, two working nights and the other four are off and then flip. They do a great job and once they are gone you will never get them back. I work for a large Pennsylvania police department and there are sections of town that never see a cop unless a crime is committed.
