Stone Harbor - I was impressed by many of the Stone Harbor lifeguards' Fourth of July performances, 96th Street's in particular. However, I am appalled at how many lifeguards neglected to make an effort to entertain their beach goers. Every street needs free candy, or a pie eating contest, or a Patriot Joe! What's worse, why did the lifeguards not do anything for Christmas in July? I understand it's not the beach patrol's main priority, but do something fun for the holiday season! I've been coming here for years, and I would think that by 2017 they would at least throw some mistletoe on their stands.
