Avalon - The small yellow bayfront cottage at 22nd Street and Ocean Drive has deteriorated since it was purchased by the new owner. It appears to be a group rental. No problem with that, however, the owner apparently failed to provide shades, blinds, or curtains and the renters have resorted to hanging towels, sheets and beach towels for privacy. It looks appalling and several of the neighbors agree. While the rest of us care about our property and are proud to live here, it is disheartening to think that what could be a lovely home has become a vessel for income at the lowest standards.
