Avalon - Avalon has some of the most beautiful and well-maintained sidewalks in the state. So, why doesn't anybody use them? In the north end of the town, walkers and joggers insist on using the streets, especially Avalon Avenue, instead of the sidewalk. This is silly, and more important it is dangerous. Cars are generally aware of pedestrians in crosswalks but much less so in the street. Please, use the sidewalks!
