North Cape May - The reason why NCM residents have been fighting the commercialization of the beach area was exemplified June 25. We have been going to the beach, leaving flip flops at the beach entry, and when you come off the beach, your flip flops are there waiting. Not the case recently as my Olukai's were stolen from the same spot I have kept them for years. Last year, my girlfriend's beach buggy was stolen while she went for a walk. There is more trash on the beach than the residents of the area have ever seen. Further exposure will only increase this type of stuff at this hidden gem.
