Villas - I recently called an air conditioning installer and they never even showed. It has cemented itself as a massive waste of time with me. I called them once before when we first bought our house and, while they showed that time, their quote ballooned every time we spoke. What started out as an $8,000 quote quickly escalated to around $10,000 before I gave up on them. I remember a friend once referring to local businesses as "Cape Maybes." I totally see why he said that now. I'm glad I'm handy.
