Stone Harbor - Beach tags should be eliminated on all NJ beaches. Beach towns rake in enough money from tourism that they can afford to pay lifeguards and clean the beaches without beach tag revenue. NJ should stop ripping off the tourists with beach tags. Beach tags make NJ very uninviting. Beach tag inspectors are hated by all. There is no justification for beach tags considering that NJ and federal taxes go to beach replenishment. The NJ legislature should pass a bill prohibiting beach tags on all NJ beaches.
