North Wildwood - I recently saw a picture of the new, proposed lifeguard station for North Wildwood. It's very nice but comes at a cost of $2 million to the local taxpayers. One needs to ask if it's worth spending $2 million for a building that is used for only four months a year? It's structurally sound, larger and still younger than the Wildwood Crest lifeguard station, in addition to them having more guards. Avalon only has a shed on the beach and has more lifeguards. We would all like shiny, new buildings and equipment but this is very costly, not broken and has attributed to the local tax hike.
