This generation is not really that much different from us Boomer

Wildwood - This generation is not really that much different from us Boomers. In the late 60s, I would have been content to lay around mom and dad's house and go surfing or fishing all day and work as little as possible. The difference was that I knew that I was not allowed to do that. My time to go arrived. I had years of work ethic drummed into my head, and I knew that I would disappoint the people I loved the most if I just became a bum. So it was off to war, then college, then family, then careers. I knew that they expected me to try my best, so I did. I didn't always succeed but I always tried.
