Cold Spring - I don't understand diehard Trump supporters in rural America who refuse to objectively assess the impacts of his budget proposals. Hard times in rural America are only going to become harder for Trump voters. As one example, to build up the military and fund his wall, he is making cuts to food aid programs. This will impact seniors, school lunch programs, low-income families, and most importantly, the farmers all across America who raise and sell the crops which support these programs. Where do farmers now sell their products to stay afloat? Restrictive trade deals will harm farmers also.
