Middle Township - Beach replenishment would be the best place to start when cutting federal spending. I don't care if every home on the islands washes into the ocean. It's not my problem. So we should just keep on wasting millions of tax dollars every year because homes are already there? No! Barrier islands should fund their own beach replenishment or have it discontinued. Taxpayers shouldn't have to fund the protection of island homes owned by the wealthy. Live near the ocean at your own risk and expense!
