North Wildwood - As a taxpayer, I am outraged that the city is still paying the retired police chief when the city just hired a supervisor in Public Works. Is there really a need to pay two employees for one job? It's as if the town doesn't not care how they spend money on salaries especially when one of those employees has already had several other jobs since he retired from the police force. If residents and taxpayers don't start paying attention to how your taxes are spent then don't complain when the same people raise your taxes to pay individuals for jobs that are not needed!
