Why shouldn't veterans be allowed to smoke in the American Legio

Wildwood - Why shouldn't veterans be allowed to smoke in the American Legion? For most veterans, this is the only place they have to go. It wasn't illegal for them to serve their country and be away from their families for months, even years. Now they can't sit and enjoy a drink and a cigarette in a private club which they pay to belong to? With all the serious issues they are dealing with, like health problems due to Agent Orange and you want to take this away from them? Let them enjoy their last few years on this earth. They deserve it!
