Avalon - Seven years ago, when St. Paul and Maris Stella merged, we were told that Maris Stella would be the head of the parish. Under Msgr. Frey, he made sure that things were shared equally between the two places. Now, it seems like everything takes place at St. Paul's and we hear that the new pastor is going to move the office to St. Paul. None of this makes sense since Maris Stella is the bigger congregation and was designated as the main church by the diocese. The new pastor shows no concern for or knowledge of how this parish works. We will definitely fight for the Avalon location.
