However, how could the citizens of Lower, Middle, and Upper townships or Wildwood Crest possibly survive without a paid fire department? Yet they do. Easily. These little, tiny towns cannot sustain these unnecessary expenses. Maybe if taxes were more reasonable, more young families could live there and provide volunteers.
