Rio Grande - Rather than Senator Jeff Van Drew patting himself and the Department of Transportation on the back for getting the traffic light activated by mid-July, he should be looking into what brilliant engineer neglected to realize the traffic light must comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act regulations. If this light had been activated, it most likely could have prevented the double fatal that occurred, if not by doing anything else but slowing the traffic down. I am sure we will see his picture in the newspaper when it is activated.
