Once upon a time, there were moral, honest and patriotic people

Cape May - Once upon a time, there were moral, honest and patriotic people who represented the Democrat Party. Harry Truman and John Kennedy come to mind. They represented courageous leaders who were proud to be American, who believed in our exceptionalism and were willing to fight for our collective national beliefs. The behavior of the so-called Democrats today is embarrassing to those of us who voted for the likes of Truman, Kennedy, and even Lyndon Johnson. It is small wonder that someone like Trump could seize the election even in Democratic strongholds like Michigan.
