Ocean City - I think it is pretty offensive that some spouters are "strong arming" local businesses looking for "local discounts." The folks who run those businesses have a bottom line that depends on their pricing structure. There is no way they can compete with big box store prices because they can't buy in that large volume; we have seen the demise of mom and pop stores all over the country because of that. What nerve to think that because we are locals we should pay less. This is just another example of a 21st-century sense of entitlement in this country. Local stores belong to friends and neighbors.
