West Wildwood - If the mayor and commissioners of West Wildwood would stop scavengers from roaming the town and taking the recyclables from the borough, than the taxpayers wouldn't have tax increases to pay extra for tipping fees. The borough receives credit for recyclables collected, off-setting tipping fee costs when dumping trash. There was a time when there was a surplus at the MUA to cover any fee increases. If nothing is done to stop scavengers from stealing recyclables at the curb, than watch how much credit we lose during the bulk trash pick-up in June, causing another increase next year!
