Lower Township - $83 for a permit to have the city water piped to my house by a plumber or even by me. Found out Lower Township put these permit fees into their spending budget even before the first water main was placed in the ground during this water phase. I doubt anybody will inspect the job once it's completed. Still happy to get city water. My neighbor said she has been waiting 50 years for this. I say we all fill a bucket with the city water and pour it over our heads to celebrate not being in the 1800's anymore!
