Villas - I was involved in a car accident recently. I wasn't at fault. The driver I found out later had dollar-a-day car insurance through Medicaid insurance through the state of NJ. That insurance doesn't cover anything and you personally have to go after the other driver for results. I also found out that the driver moved and the address wasn't updated on his license and they can't find him. I was told there is nothing that can be done by the DMV or the cops; it's out of their hands. This state is absolutely ridiculous when it comes to certain issues. Seems people just look the other way.
