Wildwood - Some folks are angry the TV cameras zoomed in on the players who chose to hold their protests in higher regard than the national anthem on the anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001. I am actually very glad that they did highlight each and every one of them. While I agree that they have an absolute right to express themselves freely, I also have the right to not watch one single televised game that they appear in. If enough of us do that, and ratings drop, and if we refuse to patronize the advertisers ... I do not intend to watch any Chiefs, Dolphins, Patriots, or 49ers games this season.
