Avalon - A commenter asked, "You think when police shoot and kill unarmed black children ... the media should not report it?" Of course, the press should report factual, unsensationalized stories in an objective fashion and they should be sure to follow up thoroughly when the officers are cleared after extensive investigations. To allow the public to believe that the police are engaged in wholesale killing of young African Americans is criminal. I suspect that the poor fellow actually believed that "Hands up, don't shoot" was the truth in Ferguson, Mo. If not the press, who is responsible for that myth?
