Avalon - To a spouter who said "there's too much government for them" because state law states cars must stop for pedestrians in the crosswalks: It's a law and a common courtesy! It's as important to teach your children how to safely cross the street as to teach them how to be kind and courteous to others. It's sad that people would question stopping to allow a person or family to cross. How much time do you "lose" and what's so important that a little courtesy angers you?
