Wildwood - Maybe we do need some new gun laws. Let's make a mandatory minimum 20-year sentence for a crime committed with a gun that can't be plea bargained away. And how about opening up mental health records so crazy people who don't have criminal records can be barred from buying guns? Let's make illegal possession of a firearm and mandatory sentence too. How about 10 years? Oops, did I say the wrong thing? Might these ideas put more people in prisons? I know some liberals really don't want to do that. Back to the drawing board, I guess.
