I'm shocked beyond belief that City Council appointed someone ot

Cape May - I'm shocked beyond belief that City Council appointed someone other than Rob Sheehan as police chief. Nothing against the appointee, but Sheehan was obviously the most qualified candidate. I assume the main reason for council's decision had to do with Sheehan's pending lawsuit against the city. Council was wrong in demoting Sheehan back in March of 2015 and they are the ones who should have initiated a settlement in the suit. This appointment has created an even bigger mess in Cape May (if that's possible) and has severely degraded morale in our police department.
