Avalon - According to a poll of registered voters published July 28 by Morning Consult: 54 percent of 18- to 34-year-olds with a college education support Clinton, 30 percent support Trump, 49 percent over the age of 65 who did not attend college support Trump and 33 percent support Clinton. Since those two groups will cancel each other out at the polls (the number of registered voters in each cohort are similar), it should be clear that the candidate who appeals to voters who identify as non-white will have an insurmountable advantage in November. All politics is local, Electoral College math 101.
