I would like to know why the Herald can publish the names of all

Wildwood - I would like to know why the Herald can publish the names of all persons arrested in the county excluding certain towns like Ocean City for instance. It just so happens they are public information as well. Why are Ocean City residents exempt from this embarrassing exposure? Not to mention some are innocent of the charges against them.

We publish arrest lists received from law enforcement. Some police departments do not provide that information to us, hence why it is not published.
