Lower Township - Lower Township has 13 supervisors that make $70,000-$90,000. I taught for 35 years in Pennsylvania with a masters plus and never made close to that. I have been retired for 10 years with no increase in pension and now no medical insurance. We love living here but because of local and state taxes, we will probably need to move back to Pennsylvania in three to five years. A friend once told us no one moves from Pennsylvania to NJ. Unfortunately, we now understand why!
