Cape May - The great depression and WWII burdened the US with massive debt. Every following president successfully worked to reduce the debt until Reagan began incurring massive debt, a trend that continues today. The only exception was Bill Clinton as the debt was reduced under his watch. Trump in his first term added almost $8 Trillion. Over $2 Trillion of that was due to tax cuts and he’s about to do it again hurting most of us, especially our kids. His priority should be to reduce the debt that accumulated on his watch and that’s never going to happen if he continues tax cuts for the rich.
