Lower Township - I would like to thank the mayor and council for no local tax increase this year. However, for the 11th straight year, my property taxes have gone up by over $100, primarily for the schools. By the amount of taxes we pay to the schools, you would think we are graduating a bunch of Einsteins. Sadly, a lot of them will leave the area because there are no jobs. We are paying a fortune to educate the workforce for others. Just once before I die, I'd like to see a year with no tax increase.
