Cape May - Making the whole island 20 mph is a terrible idea. Why not 5 mph? If you want people on bikes and other vehicles to be safer just stop them from running red lights and stop signs and going the wrong way on one way streets. Tell pedestrians that the orange hand means don't walk and don't cross if the light is red, and they only have right of way in the crosswalks. Also people riding bikes are not pedestrians and do not have right of way at the crosswalks. Drivers shouldn't have to tip-toe even more to accommodate their sense of entitlement. Everyone's safety is in their own hands.
