Swainton - The County Open Spaces program continues to show no interest in actually preserving open space. Time after time the program outright rejected those that wanted to preserve their land, even those willing to donate their land! The fox is guarding the hen house. Those in charge of the Open Spaces program are completely pro-development. They don’t want to do anything that will save land from development. We need to end the GOP stranglehold on County government if this is ever going to change.
