Middle Township - At a very young age I was introduced to baseball by my father, you could call him Mr. Baseball, but not as a spectator. At 14 they wrote in the local paper that he was a future great. Not only could he pitch, his curve ball would break from the batter across the plate to outside the strike zone, he throw a knuckle ball that had so much movement the catcher could not catch it! He throw a slider that when come at you it was below the knees then ended chest high. He throw a screw ball, (reverse curve ball) he called an in shoot, his fast ball was 85 miles an hour. And yes he was scouted Phillies.
