Foundations don't save dirt like extensive root systems do. Want less issues? Turn the barrier islands back into natural habitat like it was only a century or so ago. People buy into this hysteria but don't realize true "records" aren't very old, verifiable records aren't that old, and some of the sites they're using for narrative are only years old, not decades old.
