Cape May - 10th amendment: "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people". The issue of the legality of abortion is now where it belongs, with the States. If people want it to be legal nationally, or banned nationally, it would have to go to a national referendum to be decided by "the people". The federal government does not have the authority to do either.
