Cape May County - “Is there a muffler law in New Jersey” Apparently the muffler law in New Jersey is we don’t care if you have a muffler or not in New Jersey. So now, not only are we forced to walk around with not only a dent in our behinds from sitting on the edge of our seats for the last 3 1/2 years wondering what’s next, people with no common sense apparently have decided that entire towns should indulge a few people who falsely believe their 87 horsepower vehicle is faster when it’s louder. Whatever happened to “the quiet enjoyment of one’s own home?” Yet we’re the problem when we call. Decibels matter.
