Where do you think the money comes from that transports these people around the country, puts them up in hotels, feeds and clothes them, provides them medical care in your local ERs and pays for their educational needs (teacher time, supplies, school overhead, etc.)? Do you think there’s some pot of money that you haven’t paid into that’s being used? Have you ever wondered what else that money could be used for? Helping failing schools in low income school districts? Paying for more patrols in dangerous neighborhoods?
