Avalon - Yesterday morning, my husband and I decided to walk the Avalon boardwalk, one of our favorites. We expected more bikes and people there because it was the weekend. What we encountered were at least 20 dogs and their humans. We didn't go far when we nearly stepped in some poo that had been left behind. I told one girl headed to the beach that "Dogs weren't allowed" and got a hostile glare. We checked the Avalon Information booklet 2024 and, sure enough, dogs aren't allowed on the beach or boardwalk during the season. Perhaps increased signage would help keep the dogs off the Avalon boardwalk.
