North Cape May - I was raised by a black man and I am a white female. I love my father and the man he is to this day even though he hasn't always been perfect, he still pushed on in life. He taught me many valuable lessons about life and how it will give you a run for your money sometimes and knock you down more often than you may like. He protected, nurtured and helped mold me into the woman I am today; strong-willed and very independent. It disheartens me very much that I have to watch how some white people can be toward another person because of the color of their skin. It's 2016, time for a change.
