West Wildwood - I watched a news segment, July 8th, on NBC10 about the booming tourism business over the July 4th holiday at the Jersey Shore. Tourists told the reporter they paid $650.00 per night for a hotel room in Ocean City, NJ. Most hotels require a 3 night minimum on holiday weekends. An OC boardwalk business owner said he’s never seen it this busy. A server I know said her restaurant in Wildwood served over 1,000 dinners on July 5th. They were expecting to serve 500-600. Must be the bad economy those republicans are always talking about.
