This seems like an obvious answer: “Of course I would declassify them, because I have nothing to hide.” Instead he gave a panicked answer about how he’d hesitate to declassify the Epstein files because “there’s a lot of phony stuff in there.” No really, he said this. In other words he seems to be confirming that there’s ugly stuff in the Epstein files about him and/or his allies, and he’s preemptively insisting that it’s phony. Wow.
