Enough is enough. My mother came to US from France after WW2.

Cape May County - Enough is enough. My mother came to US from France after WW2. Her bother was with her. When they arrived, their name checked against a list, they were given a health check, had to provide where they were going, had to have money (don’t remember the amount), had to check in annually and they didn’t met the requirements, they were placed in a holding area until the ship was departing and placed on the ship.The received nothing from the government, they were on their own. WHY HAS THIS CHANGED?
