Why are the parents of these high schoolers protecting their kid

Lower Township - Why are the parents of these high schoolers protecting their kids when they break the law? Driving around harassing citizens. Endangering the lives of everyone especially children the way they drive. I know this for a fact because my child came home and told me what had happened and a police officer's child was involved and it's a big cover up. They blame others not their child. This was confirmed by two other parents.
