Court House - If a public employee speaks out on a public forum, he can expect massive consequences. This happened to me at a county commissioners meeting. I was charged internally with violating a sheriff's department " press policy." My lawyer stated I had every right to petition government to address ongoing issues. I was advised I could sue the department for violation of constitutional rights. This happens way too often. The Cape May County Sheriff's Department is nothing but a "paper tiger" and no officers respect the administration. Thanks for the great pension and health benefits.
