Why has the fenced-in area at Allen Park been locked up for 3 ye

North Wildwood - Why has the fenced-in area at Allen Park been locked up for 3 years? The City says it's because kids play soccer there. So out of town kids come down a handful of times in the summer and the field has to be locked year-round? Why should we full time (tax paying) residents have to be penalized for the few days the field is used in the summer? This makes NO sense at all! I used to take my kids over there & play ball but 3 years ago a sign went up "temporarily closed" & the field was never reopened- except on the occasional SUMMER weekend for the entitled soccer kids.
